Molly Callahan is excited to be chairing the IGMA conference committee this year. She has worked as a GTA and FTA (Forensic Teaching Associate) since 2019. She is passionate about the impact of this work, leading to a more empowered and comfortable patient experience and deeper empathy from medical providers performing these sensitive exams. She is an actress based in NYC, and those skills greatly inform her work in this field, connecting with learners to help deepen their understanding of their patients’ perspective. Molly has also worked extensively as a Standardized Patient since 2014 at many medical education institutions throughout the tri state area, with particular interest in helping learners improve their empathy and patient communication skills.
